"Words can't hardly begin to describe our wild cave trip at Organ Cave.  From climbing to crawling, rock faces to clay tubes, we not only got to see the most beautiful and massive cave in our experiences, but be part of it fully.  Our guide  was truly professional and helped get us through some tough spots.  He had a steady stream of encouragement and good humor that convinced us that we could do the things we had never thought of.  From booking out tour with Janie, to going into the ground,  we can't say enough good things about Organ Cave."                      Jack and Lena Falls- Germantown, Maryland

At 10:00am the Amanda Clearcreek FFA Alumni group from Ohio arrived at Organ Cave ready for some fun and excitement.  The group, consisting of Jeff Tilley, Nick Greiner, Heather Makalius, Noah Blosser II, Michael Shaeffer, Mike Ellinger, Lucy Bowen, Jennifer Cochran, Scott Sharp, and Ben Blosser, had these comments to say.    "Loads of fun!!  Nothing compares to being over 300 ft. underground.  Everyone should give it a  try."

"This is absolutely the best wild caving I have ever been on.  Outstanding!!!!"

"This is the best caving adventure I've ever been on.  One word describes it.......UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!"

"Excellent tour.......excellent tour guides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

At 1:00pm on Friday, we went on our very first wild tour ever.  "Thanks for taking us on the tour.  It was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE.  Nothing like just getting down and seeing nature for what it really is.  It was well worth the drive!  We'll definitely be back!"

David and Amber Gardner- Hinesville and Savannah, Georgia

"Go on the Wild Tour, it is worth every minute!!

"WOW!!  What an experience!!  First time caving....didn't really know what to expect.  More and better than we ever thought.   This may have been our first, but it won't be our last.  We will be back!!  Thanks for a GREAT WILD TOUR!!"

Christie Caldwell and Ted Salisbury- Chas., West Virginia

Organ Cave was a great discovery!  We will be back and bring more family.  Lots more to discover.  One of the best trips we have taken.  Wish I had discovered Organ Cave years ago.  Awesome sights and sounds.

Patricia Will, Larry Will, and Jay Will, Carroll Co., Maryland

Organ Cave was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.  I can't believe I've lived in West Virginia all my life and never took advantage of this natural scenic wonder.

Just wanted to tell you what a great time we had on our extended expedition. We took the Knifes Edge tour with Janet. We suspected that if we took one of the shorter tours we would wish we hadn't. Boy were we right. We could have stayed down there much longer. This was our first exposure to such a thing and now all other standard cave tours will pale in comparison. Our pictures came out great. I brought them to work and everyone was amazed. We will tell of our experience for years to come. Thanks to all of you for offering such a great excursion. We will be back as may some of my co-workers that visit the western Virginia areas. Finally, I would like to comment on the people we encountered. What a great group. Everyone was so friendly. This was the "West Virginia" as I have always remembered it.

Sarah, "One of the most challenging and exciting adventures  while I was caving was climbing.  Climbing was always worth it in the end because of what you see at the top.  After climbing several feet, we ended up on top one of the most beautiful scenic looks ever.  On the bottom of us was water coming down off all different size rocks into a river of water.  The room was so big you  could yell and your echo would scare you.  It was "AWESOME.

"Caving Organ Cave in W. VA. was way cool.  A trip into another world that few get to see. The kids were jazzed and the guides were wonderful. Thank!"    The Gillespies and Crazy Larry,  Silver Springs, Maryland

Allen Bryan and Michael,  Richmond Va.

The trip was great, Knife's Edge, and the waterfalls were very enjoyable.  I loved the experience and challenges I had.  My dad "Allen" also said it was great.  Eric and Mike, our guides, were great.  They told you the history and the facts of the cave.  Next time I come up here with my Dad, I am sure we will come back here and take another "Extended Exploring Expedition".

Dear Ms. Janie,

Please extend our thanks to Janet, Joyce, and Wess for the wonderful
time each of you showed us while we were at Organ Cave.  Several of the
Scouts were a bit apprehensive about going in but all were thrilled by
the time we were done - tired - but thrilled.  You had asked what we
liked best - that's a hard one  - there are so many different formations
and huge rooms in this cave system.  Wess was fascinating to listen to
with his knowledge of the geology and chemistry.  I guess the one thing
that really impressed me was that the miners worker without shoes not so
long ago.  That's hard to imagine -  "When men were men" I guess.  It
was fun to see Miss Janet give our older boys a good running too.  Ms
Joyce will stick with me for a long time to come - I can only hope and
wish to have her endurance in 15 years.

Hi,
This is Anubama.Hope remember the group of 6 Indians who had come to Organ Cave for the Labor day weekend.
Just wanted to thank you for giving us an experience of our lifetime ! The Knife Edge wildcaving was a remarkable tour packed with lots of adventure and thrills. A special thanks to you and our guides Janet and Wess.
I've attached pictures for your repository.
Thanks and Hope to be there soon,
Anubama Ganesshan

We had a gentleman in to do an extended tour with his son and his comment after the trip was over is as follows:  My son and I have camped and traveled the Grand Canyon and have found nothing in the US to compare to the beauty and the grandeur until we came here.  The extended expedition is the closest we have came to the joy and excitement we experienced there.

Wild Caving is an unbelievably unique, interesting, and physically challenging activity.  Everyone involved in this trip would recommend this to anyone interested in trying something new. Call (304 645-7600) or email (janie@organcave.com) the nice folks at Organ Cave to arrange an for a wild caving trip personalized to your group.

Where do I begin?  I walked into the entrance of the cave at 1000 hours on March 10th, 2007 with three other members in my group.  I came out of the cave through the same entrance with the same group only this time a new friend and a new look at the wondrous works of the almighty!  Your knowledge of the cave, the Civil War History and various things discovered on our journey into the depths of the cave had far surpassed my expectations.
I truly have a better understanding and respect for nature and all things preserved in that respect. Myself or my team, can not thank you enough for sharing your knowledge, time and patience with us on that most memorable day.
"If you want to experience an adventure you'll never forget, a true test of your inner strength, the Mini Cliff-hanger is for you.  As a  Private Law Enforcement Instructor, I highly endorse this weekend adventure as an equal substitute for any natural disaster training.  If, you can keep up with Janie, an asset to the Organ Cave staff, her knowledge surpassed all other guides I've met."

Sincerely,
Frank J. Polievka, Jr.
