Our gift shop is a spacious
log cabin, blending perfectly into the natural surroundings located on our
grounds. Come sit on our 52' long porch and kick back in our rocking chairs
hand-made local. Even on the hottest summer days, the cool
cave air keeps the ground temperatures comfortable and refreshing. Our gift shop
offers a vast array of gifts and unique items and you're bound to find something
that will please you.
Inside you'll find a selection of ornamental figures,
clothing, jewelry, plaques and paintings, as well as western gifts and great
reduced-price Christmas items. While browsing the shop, make sure and check out our
display of various Native American and Civil War artifacts, including a partial
casting of the Megalonyx jeffersoni, the giant sloth discovered by nitre
workers and studied by Jefferson himself.
If you love history, geology, or are
